As an artist and an introvert these unusual times of physical distancing have had me a bit too unsettled to make effective use of the creative opportunities presented by this enforced solitude. Putting my focus on actually creating new artwork has been extremely difficult, instead I have been up in my studio dealing with unfinished projects. I need to get out and walk and now that I have some facemasks I am feeling more comfortable about doing so. My lovely fabric artist friend Lesley in Woodstock, Ontario gifted me 4 of her delightful hand-made masks 2 with puffins and 2 with delicate ferns.
And clothing designer LeGaleriste created face masks from 2 of my artworks - Boho Seven and Timeless. These come in different sizes so I've ordered samplers in a couple sizes. If you are interested in taking a closer look at these, click here.
I am so appreciative of having my health while very sad hearing about all the folks who are not so fortunate. It is hard to know how to act, think, react and cope in these uncertain times and my emotions continually swing between am I underreacting or am I overreacting?
