My zenwork "Tuscan Days" celebrates bright sunny days in the countryside of Tuscany, Italy. Vineyards of lush grapes, their rows ending with fragrant rose bush “guardians”, fields of tall sunflowers, and large copper butterflies dancing on the soft warm breeze. This artwork is being donated to the Watson Art Centre for their 2014 "A Tuscan Affair" fundraising event. The Watson Art Centre, is located in Dauphin's old town hall built in 1905 which is now classed as a heritage building. This vibrant Arts Centre offers a delightful variety of programs and events and is run by a lively group of dedicated staff and volunteers. We are very fortunate to have this community resource here in Dauphin, made possible through financial and volunteer support!
